Safe Places are provided throughout the Borough to offer a place of reassurance and practical assistance to our residents and visitors.
We have ensured that the safe places are spread throughout the Borough and that there is at least one safe space in each electoral ward.
The Safe Place App is free and can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play. The App has 'Get me to my nearest Safe Place' button which immediately directs you to the nearest open Safe Place. If no Safe Place is locations within a 15 minutes walk it will automatically offer to call the Police non-emergency 101 number to get help over the phone.
