About Us

Cloverleaf Advocacy was founded in 1995, to help people with mental health needs speak out and have their voices heard about the things that were important to them.  Our passion to help people be heard means that we now provide services across Yorkshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and North and North East Lincolnshire.

Our services support people who have mental health needs, learning disabilities, older people, people with sensory or physical impairment and unpaid carers.

In addition we provide advocacy-related training and qualifications through our City & Guilds Accredited Centre and have provided training to private, public and third sector organisations.

We are proud that our values remain central to everything we do. Whilst the organisation has grown over the last 20+ years, the services we offer remain tailored to local areas and communities. We are proud to support the Barnsley Safe Places scheme and the National Network.

We hope that people who may not feel confident to access their local community will be able to use the National Network site to access Safe Places within Barnsley MBC and beyond.
