Tornado Gloves was established by Dave Bull in 2001. The Company manufacture a highly technological range of industrial hand protection for diverse manufacturing sectors throughout Europe. Many ‘blue-chip’ manufacturing companies benefit from the technology and subsequent health and safety benefits of the Tornado Gloves range.
In 2012 one of Dave’s sons, Liam, was diagnosed with Autism. Learning and adaptation was key to give Liam every possible level of support. By understanding the key issues and needs, Dave was keen to support others in a similar position wherever possible. When Dave was approached by Safe Places he deemed the organisation to be a fantastic support mechanism and committed to become a sponsor.
With the knowledge that all Autistic children or adults would now have a Safe Place to quickly reach a highly trained person is of great benefit and support to that particular individual. Safe Places will become an integral part of any Autistic person's life knowing that support is located in the close proximity.
